Position Title:                       Kids Club Activity Leader
Location:                               Richmond – Lord Byng YMCA Kids Club (3711 Georgia St, Richmond, BC V7E 6M3)
 
Terms:                                   Permanent Part-Time: 18.75 Hours/week 
Shift:                                      Monday to Friday 2:15-6:00pm
Salary:                                    $16.44 per hour 
Reports To:                           Manager, Healthy Child Development
 
This posting is governed by the Collective Agreement between the YMCA Child Care Centers and BCGEU Local 303.

If you want to work with kids we’re looking for you!  YMCA Activity Leaders enjoy facilitating activities for children ages 5 – 12 in a fun, fast paced environment.

Major Responsibilities:

• Facilitate activities and build relationships
• Have fun and role model positive behaviors
• Flexibility and willingness to learn new skills
• Ensure all children are supervised and safe at all time
• Read, understand and follow all YMCA requirements and standards
• Behave in a professional manner

Requirements: 

• Experience working with children ages 5 – 12 years
• Current Standard First Aid and CPR-C & AED certificate required
• Must be 19 years of age
• Successful candidates will be required to provide a satisfactory Criminal Reference Check/Vulnerable Sector Search issued no later than six (6) months preceding your start date
